Being a photographer, I approach people and environments in a different way than I would without a camera. I’m constantly looking for anything that could be a good photo. The funny thing is that since I’m so absorbed in my own world, I kind of blend in with all the craziness going on – even on the extremely busy streets of Old Delhi in India.
I stand at a corner with my tripod, and only a few people seem to notice me. In one hour, perhaps two or three, people approach – but not to sell me anything; they just want to know which country I am from.
I’m still working on my project, called 'Looking for a peaceful expression of Delhi', but little did I know in the beginning that even I would end up feeling calm and peaceful in these streets...
