Is the photo worth it?

Are we prepared to do anything to get a photo? Even if it means using animals and putting them through true pain and using them? Would you do that?

Is a selfie with a wild animal worth the pain it brings to the animal? Is a photo that get many likes on social media worth bringing pain to animals? Is it only people who are traveling that don’t think about what they do?

Wildlife photographers would never do that – would they?

I have seen so many people wanting to take a photo with themselves and a wild animal but then knowing how badly these animals are treated makes me sick. I try to inform people to never ever have your photo taken with any animals since the cost is enormous – for the animal!!!

But also know that wildlife photographers are prepared to go far to get a photo but so far it is on the cost of the animal, then you and we have lost our ethical thinking with nature photography!

Photo companies sell trips with elephant riding and we know they do it to make money and they don’t care about ethics or about an animal's wellbeing.

But why do photographers do it?

Would you do it if you knew how they torture them to let you ride them?
Would you ride an elephant just to get better photos? Are you really a nature lover or do you even care about animals if you are part of this?

This is just some of the questions we need to start asking ourselves to get this to stop. If we don’t stop, who will? So let’s work together to stop this, inform everyone you know about!
