Biography
First in the Editor's Choice ‘hot seat' was the hugely respected Aidan Sullivan, vice president of photo assignments for Getty Images. He began his career as a photographer for a local newspaper in the UK and then worked as a freelance news photographer in Fleet Street. He joined The Sunday Times as deputy picture editor and became picture editor, before joining The Sunday Times Magazine as assistant editor responsible for all of the photography. Aidan won the International Picture Editor of the Year at Visa Pour l'Image 2000 and is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society.
