Biography
After qualifying from the Sorbonne, in Paris, with qualifications in art history and aesthetics Magdalena Herrera began her career as a photographer and freelance graphic designer. She worked for National Geographic France as the art director and head of photography, as well as filling the same roles for its book division. She has won several National Geographic Society awards including highest achievement in the Best Features category in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
