In August 2010 Canon enhanced its L-series range of professional lenses with the announcement of four lenses – the EF300mm f/2.8L IS II USM, the EF400mm f/2.8L IS II USM, the EF8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM and the EF70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM – plus the EF1.4x III and EF2x III Extenders.

Like many of their illustrious L-series predecessors all of the lenses have been designed to meet the demands of professional photographers by offering a combination of optical excellence, consistently high performance, outstanding image quality, and superb build quality to provide photographers with exceptional results and reliability.

EF300mm f/2.8L IS II USM & EF400mm f/2.8L IS II USM

The EF300mm f/2.8L IS II USM and EF400mm f/2.8L IS II USM telephoto lenses feature advanced optical technologies, Canon’s latest Image Stabilization technology, and all-new constructions to deliver robust yet lightweight optics. When used in combination with the EF1.4x III or EF2x III Extenders they have been designed to deliver optimal optical performance.

EF8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM

The EF8-15mm f4L Fisheye USM zoom lens offers both circular and full frame images, a constant f/4 aperture throughout the zoom range and the robust, durable design well known in Canon’s L-series lenses. It gives photographers a great degree of creative flexibility when shooting scenes such as the night sky, where the full 180º horizontal and vertical fields of view (FOV) allow every detail to be captured with incredible clarity in one image.

EF70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM

Canon’s EF70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM telephoto zoom lens combines superb optical performance with a compact, sturdy design for superb shooting versatility and easy portability. The wide zoom range of the lens has appeal for a wide range of photographers looking to shoot portraits, action or nature images in superb detail. It also offers a four-stop Image Stabilizer for blur-free shots.
