LanguagesCanon will showcase an exciting range of innovative 2010 imaging products at this year’s Photokina exhibition (21-26 September) in Cologne, Germany. Delegates will be able to view the entire new Autumn Collection, ranging from powerful compact cameras with full HD video recording to professional broadcast camcorders, home printers and large format printers.
To ensure all visitors at this year’s Photokina can try Canon’s exciting product range with comfort and ease, a 3,155 square metres showcase has been built and can be found in Halle 3.2. This will be the first opportunity for many people to see Canon’s newly-launched products and some of the highlights for visitors will include:
- EOS 60D, offering an 18-Megapixel APS-C sensor and a Vari-angle LCD screen, is a powerful mid-range DSLR which allows users to take the next step in their creative journey.
- The XF105, a compact professional camcorder which records full HD, broadcast-quality footage, perfect for independent film makers and roving news reporters. The new XF-100 models are the smallest models ever to include the broadcast-quality MPEG-2 Full HD recording codec (50Mbps, 4:2:2).
- The IXUS 1000 HS, a combination of a high-sensitivity 10MP sensor, 10x optical zoom and Full HD movies in a slim, compact design.
- The EF8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM is the world’s first fisheye zoom lens, offering both circular and full frame images thanks to an extreme wide-angle focal range of 8-15mm.
- The incredible new range of PIXMA printers, which includes some of the most dynamic models on the market and introduces the new Intelligent Touch System and Full HD Movie Print Function. Featuring a new, sleek design and technologies that bring colour to life in high-quality, long-lasting prints, the new PIXMA range does it all in unrivalled style.
- Canon’s latest large format imagePROGRAF printers will also be on display, including the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) award-winning iPF6350, the iPF8300 and the iPF6300. Developed in response to the demand for high quality output in the professional photographic and fine art markets, the new imagePROGRAF systems offer superior colour reproduction at 12-colour LUCIA EX pigment ink systems. Attendees can also meet with product experts throughout the event.
