To further enhance the capabilities of the EOS-1D Mark IV DSLR Canon is working to release a firmware update - Version 1.0.6 - for the camera. This firmware update further enhances the camera's AF tracking performance and is scheduled to be available for download from the web starting from late January.
The firmware Version 1.0.6 enhances the AF tracking performance of the EOS-1D Mark IV with the following improvement:
- AF performance has been enhanced for receding subjects and for subjects that are approaching at a low speed.
Look out for a further announcement on CPN and Canon's website once this firmware update is ready for download.
