Canon has announced ‘Cash Back’ offers on three of its EOS DSLR range – the EOS 40D, EOS 450D and EOS 1000D models – for anyone purchasing the cameras between now and 12 January 2009 at participating Canon dealers in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Purchasers of the EOS 40D will get a €75 cash back, buyers of the EOS 450D can claim €65 cash back, and anyone buying the EOS 1000D (in the EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS kit only) can get a €40 cash back. Canon UK is also offering 50% off Experience Seminars courses to purchasers of the EOS 1000D. Recommended by Canon these are high quality practical seminars, delivered by a team of professional trainers dedicated to bringing you the best possible training on your camera.

Participants must be resident in the European Union and to enter the promotion you must have purchased the Canon EOS 40D, EOS 450D, or 1000D (the EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS kit only) from a participating retailer in the UK or the Republic of Ireland between 15 September 2008 and 12 January 2009. Purchases made after 12 January 2009 will not be eligible.

To claim the Cash Back you must fully and correctly complete a claim form that is either an in-store leaflet claim form or a download. You can download a claim form by clicking here.

Send the completed claim form, together with the original receipt or valid proof of purchase to: Canon EOS Cashback Promotion, Freepost RRRX-UHCE-RSGT, PWA, 9-12 Eastman Way, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7DU. Claims must be received before midnight on Monday 2 February 2009. Canon will then issue you with a cheque for the stated amount.
