December 2016

Starting today, December 1, 2016, visual journalists worldwide are invited to submit their best work to the prestigious World Press Photo Contests. Last year the Photo Contest received an impressive 82,951 submissions and an unexpected photograph, showing refugees struggling under moonlight, stole the show. It was an image taken by freelancer Warren Richardson at ISO 6400. World Press Photo judges saw the image as a symbol of 2015 and awarded it their highest honour in recognition of the photographer’s commitment to documenting the truth. Have you got a similar story to share?
