Canon has taken the wraps off the new EOS-1D Mark IV 16.1 Megapixel SLR that offers photographers a newly developed autofocus system, ISO shooting capability between ISO 50 and 102,400, plus a rapid 10 frames per second shooting speed.

Canon has announced that it is developing a firmware update for the EOS 5D Mark II SLR to add 24fps and 25fps Full HD 1080p shooting capabilities to the camera in the first half of 2010.

Canon has announced two Wireless File Transmitters - the WFT-E2 II for the EOS-1D Mark IV and the WFT-E4 II for the EOS 5D Mark II - that offer photographers the ability to wirelessly transmit images from a camera to a computer, enhanced remote capture, and linked shooting.
