Product sheet for the EOS-30D

EOS 30D

Introduced in March 2006, the EOS 30D was the direct replacement for the EOS 20D. Featuring the same 8.2megapixel sensor and a 5fps continuous shooting speed, it is ready to produce high quality results in a wide range of situations.

The larger 2.5inch LCD screen and the inclusion of Picture Styles makes setting up the camera easier and reviewing images more comfortable.

The inclusion of a similar but fine-tuned 9-pointAF system helps the camera keep up when the subjects are moving quickly. Although it sits at the consumer end of the market, it is perfectly capable of delivering results appropriate to a professional product and makes a good second camera for the full gamut of photographic genres.
