PowerShot G9
For when you don’t have or can’t take a DSLR with you, the PowerShot G9 is there to help you get the shot. Discreet shooting in the street or landscapes while out and about, the 12.1 Megapixel resolution of the G9 will produce large, high quality prints, 6x optical zoom (35-210mm 35mm equivalent) and an optical image stabiliser helps you to frame up your image creatively, as well as keep shooting when the light levels get low.
For the reporter on the move, the movie capabilities allow you to shoot short interviews at 1024x768 pixels at 15fps – perfectly suited to new media distribution on the web.
The inclusion of a RAW format shooting mode extends the capabilities and allows you to make the best of your images. The DIGIC III processor ensures clear, clean images and gives an ISO range of 80 to 1600. The 3-inch LCD screen makes reviewing your images easy in all situations.
