Canon launches EOS Professional Network

In the UK and Ireland Canon has launched the EOS Professional Network (EPN) programme that has been developed to provide the very best retail experience for professional photographers.

The EOS Professional Network is made up of two categories - EOS Professional Centres and EOS Professional Stockists. EOS Professional Centres and Stockists will have specialist staff who are able to demonstrate Canon’s workflow solution from capture through to prints on large format printers.

EOS Professional Centres will hold a full range of rental stock providing a wide range of Canon bodies, lenses and accessories. In store you will be able to experience the full Canon EOS system: DSLRs, lenses and accessories plus PIXMA inkjet and large format printers, premium papers and inks, as well as Canon’s range of projectors and scanners.

Canon Professional Services (CPS) members requiring equipment repairs can take advantage of new drop off and collection points in stores - giving them fast track priority and a more local service - instead of having to send their equipment to a centralised equipment repair centre.

The EOS Professional Network will also host a calendar of demonstration and in-store events focusing on genres and aspects of photography, such as wedding, macro and sports. In addition, EOS Professional Centres will offer photographers the chance to try to Canon professional kit within a dedicated studio with professional lighting and editing capabilities with DPP software.

Lee Bonniface, country director of Canon Consumer Imaging UK & Ireland, told CPN: “The EOS Professional Network will give photographers greater access to Canon imaging products. It has been developed to equip our retailers with the very best tools, to support, demonstrate and supply the complete Canon solution to photographers.”

All members of the EPN – 22 stores across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are currently involved in the programme - will have Canon trained staff to guide you through the latest photographic products and answer any of your technical questions.
