Canon announces extended warranties

Canon is reinforcing its commitment to high levels of service with the announcement of an additional one-year warranty for the EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1Ds Mark III, providing photographers with two years of warranty coverage in total, free of charge.

The offer is not only available on new purchases, but is also extended to existing owners of the EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1Ds Mark III bodies.

The campaign is set to run from 1 May 2008 until 31 December 2008 and starts at a special anniversary. Canon is currently celebrating the production of 40 million EF lenses, 21 years after the birth of the EOS system in 1987.

“For more than 20 years Canon EOS bodies and EF lenses have represented the very best in photographic equipment, and the EOS-1D series has become the choice of professional photographers everywhere,” said Kazuyuki Suzuki, Director of Photo Products Management and Professional Imaging.
