WUXGA RESOLUTION WITH EXCEPTIONAL BRIGHTNESS
The XEED WUX6000 offers native WUXGA resolution at 1920x1200 pixels. It delivers images from computer, as well as directly from a USB device, with exceptional clarity and reproduces Full HD video in perfect detail either directly from a digital source or via a network. A short arc lamp projects smooth images brightly and with excellent contrast.
ASPECTUAL ILLUMINATION SYSTEM (AISYS)
Using the latest generation of Canon’s Aspectual Illumination System (AISYS) optical system, Version 4.1, it delivers a powerful 6000 lumens of true ‘colour brightness’; displays are bright and clear even in high ambient light levels. This panel has superior fill factor, reflectivity, and durability with accomplished high luminance and long-term reliability.
CANON PROJECTION LENSES
Choose from five stunning Canon projection lenses, each one designed to deliver maximum light output and superb optical clarity when projected over distances as short as 1.7m (with the RS-IL03UL lens) up to 89 metres (with the RS-IL04UL lens). Canon optical heritage and technology means that the quality of the image is maintained from input to output.
MODULAR DESIGN - EASY MAINTENANCE
Installation projectors need to be easy to service – the WUX6000 has a modular design making it simple to service in-situ so maintenance has never been quicker or easier. The high-efficiency 340W lamp has a lifespan of up to 3000 hours (in Quiet Mode) and is easily accessed from the rear of the projector. The air filter simply slides out from the side. Quick access is also provided to key optical components so there's no need for complex dismantling. Furthermore, the waveplate used in the WUX6000’s polarisation conversion element is made of inorganic material, which effectively doubles the service life.
PC-LESS PRESENTATION AND VERSATILE CONNECTIVITY
The USB 2.0 port allows for direct projection of images from USB flash drives, with no need for a PC to be connected. Both DVI-D and HDMI ports connect the XEED WUX6000 with high-definition digital sources. There's also a 15-pin VGA terminal and three mini-jacks for audio connectivity plus serial and network ports for control and monitoring, the latter using 1000Base-T compatibility for integrating an AV system. Four systems of audio input are offered when the HDMI connector and network are included.
POWERED LENS MECHANISM
Outstanding accuracy and superior installation flexibility is made possible thanks to the powered vertical and horizontal lens shift, accurate to within half a pixel. The powered lens mechanism has several memory positions, which can be programmed as required.
LCOS PANEL TECHNOLOGY
Canon’s Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology delivers stunning image quality, which overcomes the typical side effects of conventional image projection that causes unwanted ‘lattice’ or ‘rainbow’ effects.
There are three LCOS panels in the projector, one for each of the primary colours – red, green and blue. Each panel features a layer of liquid crystal pixels in front of a reflective mirror base. Behind this, the circuitry is placed. This special, reflective type of LCD panel provides the best features of competing technologies, with none of the drawbacks.
DVI AND HDMI INPUTS
With both DVI and HDMI inputs, the WUX6000 offers the ultimate flexibility, making it ideal for applications such as video conferencing that demand picture-by-picture imaging. Picture-by-picture projection can be achieved from either two digital sources, or from one digital and one analogue source. In addition, images can be displayed via the network, using Canon’s ‘NMPJ’ feature using the built in ultra-fast 1000Base-T network port.
IMAGE MODES AND BUILT-IN EDGE BLENDING
Various picture adjustment functions are available to suite for the image’s characteristics, including hue and gradation. The XEED WUX6000 features a variety of image modes including Standard, Presentation, Dynamic, Vivid Photo, Photo/sRGB, Video, Cinema and Custom (with five presets). For more precise control, image display colours can be adjusted using 6-Axis Colour Adjustment.
SIX-AXIS COLOUR ADJUST AND FINE TUNE GAMMA
The WUX6000 provides a function allowing for advanced colour adjustments. Six independent RGBCMY parameters for "hue" and "saturation" as well as "brightness" adjustments are offered, while ‘Fine Tune Gamma’ allows the adjustment of a gamma curve where white, red, green, and blue can be adjusted. The white adjustment result is reflected in red, blue, and green.
NETWORK SETTINGS VIA 1000BASE-T NETWORK PORT
From the projector, the following network-related items can be set: Network setting lock, Network password setting, Register network password, Network function (wired), Network standby settings, Switching Normal/Low-power, Detail settings (wired), PJLink, AMX Device Discovery and Creston Room View. Network Multi Projection (NMPJ) makes it possible to deal with multiple PCs and multiple projectors as a single system.
3D LOOKUP TABLE
The XEED WUX6000, like its predecessors, also includes the 3D LUT function that offers a dramatically increased number of setting points, enabling the projector to deliver more precise colour reproduction and richer colour gradations.
