Momenteel is alleen de inhoud over Cinema EOS beschikbaar in het Nederlands. Results

A picture of Tusipono Indian boys at play taken by Francisco Roman Sanchez from Puerto Rico with an EOS 5D Mark II has been chosen by the New Statesman’s Rebecca McClelland as her favourite image from those uploaded to the ‘Lightness’ category of Editor’s Choice 3 in January 2012. The Public’s choice, made from McClelland’s 30-image shortlist, was a photo by Ernst Lorenzi from Austria.

In a special multimedia presentation Rebecca McClelland talks in detail about the entries, including her five favourite images. It also showcases all of her 30-image shortlist. McClelland said Sanchez’s picture had a “deep, sublime beauty” and reminded her of Sebastião Salgado’s Amazon images.

Rebecca McClelland and CPN would like to thank all the photographers who submitted their images to the ‘Lightness’ category of Editor's Choice 3 in January 2012. The Editor's choice 3 Guest Editors will soon be choosing their favourite overall images of the series. The winning photographer will have the chance to showcase his or her pictures on the CPN website. In addition, CPN readers will be able to vote for their favourite overall image.
