Seleziona la lingua dall'elenco in alto e automaticamente si visualizzeranno tutti i contenuti disponibili in quella lingua; diversamente la lingua di default sarà l’inglese.

    Alle inhoud die op de CPN-website wordt gepubliceerd, is beschikbaar in het Engels. Bepaalde inhoud, zoals productbeschrijvingen, onlangs gelanceerde producten en sommige technische artikelen, zijn ook beschikbaar in het Duits, Spaans, Frans, Italiaans en Nederlands. The Berlinale Talent Campus, a creative networking platform for emerging film professionals that is held in Berlin, Germany – Canon Europe being one of its main sponsors – is accepting applications for its 2014 event (denoted as #12), which runs from 8-13 February, 2014.

The Berlinale Talent Campus, which runs alongside the Berlin International Film Festival, is an annual international meeting of 300 promising film-making talents. Eligible are emerging film professionals in the first 10 years of their career, including actors, cinematographers, directors, distributors, editors, film critics, producers, production designers, screenwriters, sound designers and composers.

What does the Berlinale Talent Campus offer?

Apart from a programme of masterclasses and panel discussions, the Berlinale Talent Campus #12 offers several ‘Project Labs’, Studios and Workshops. These include:

  • Talent Project Market: Look out for savvy co-producers
    Designed for 10 producers/directors with a fully developed and ready-to-be-presented feature film project for theatrical release and suitable for international co-production.

    Participants at the Berlinale Talent Campus #12 will have another chance to touch and try the latest film-making equipment from the Canon Cinema EOS System.

  • Doc Station: Transforming reality into cinema
    Designed for 10 documentary filmmakers working on a feature-length film project in advanced development stage.

  • Script Station: Bringing life to pages
    Designed for 10 screenwriters/directors working on a feature-length fiction film script that is in the advanced development stage.

  • Short Film Station: Shorts have more to say
    Designed for 10 directors or writer/directors working on a script for a short film that is in the advanced stage of development.

  • Post-Production Studio: Surviving digital workflows
    Designed for 20 filmmakers (producers, directors, editors and cinematographers) who can shoot in small groups with the latest digital camera equipment, provided by Canon Europe.

  • Editing Studio: Life after shooting
    Designed for up to eight filmmakers (editors or directors) with an advanced rough cut of their feature-length or short documentary or fiction film.

  • Sound Studio: Setting the tone
    Designed for 15 sound designers and score composers looking to improve the sound design of the film they are working on and enrich the narrative structure of the story through mentoring by renowned sound professionals.

  • Production Design Studio: World-building with visual imagination
    Designed for up to eight production designers, who can join discussions on how to develop new worlds for storytelling through an immersive and collaborative creative practice.

  • Distribution Studio: Making people watch films
    Designed for eight to 10 emerging film distributors, sales agents and/or audience developers, who can learn to design a strategy to reach audiences for specific film projects with mentoring by internationally experienced market experts, including audience designers, distributors, sales agents, publicists and producers.

  • Talent Actors Stage: Examining the actor’s role
    Designed for 15 actors, to improve acting skills varying from body techniques, dialogue reading and close-up camera acting, through to mentoring by experienced industry experts.

  • Talent Press: The rigour of criticism
    Designed for eight film critics, who can watch and review films shown at the Berlin International Film Festival or attend and write about sessions at the Berlinale Talent Campus.

The Berlinale Talent Campus event runs over six days, during the Berlin Film Festival, from 8-13 February, 2014. Applications will be accepted right up until the deadline of 18 September 2013 at 23:59 Central European Time (CET).
